Donor-Advised Funds
To direct a gift from your donor-advised fund, please contact your plan administrator and provide our full legal name and EIN number as above.
IRA Gifts
If you are 70½ or older and want to reduce the income and potential taxes from required IRA distributions, you can make a gift through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). An IRA charitable distribution, sometimes called an “IRA Rollover” can provide these benefits:
- Satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year
- Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions
- Make a gift that is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts
To make a QCD, provide your plan administrator with our full legal name and federal employee identification number (EIN) as above and let us know that your gift is on the way. This will give you the opportunity designate your gift for a specific purpose or in honor or memory of a loved one.
Matching Gifts
Many companies have programs that will match all or a portion of your gift. Please ask your employer today. You may be able to double your gift!
Securities
You can gift marketable securities such as stocks and bonds to the Congregation of St. Joseph by transferring them into our securities account. Please contact us for account information.
