The Congregation of St. Joseph respects and upholds the God-given dignity of all life. We celebrate the diversity of ethnicity, national origin, skin color and ancestry that bring vitality to our communities and lives. We condemn and decry how racism in ourselves and in systems of white privilege deprive people of color of their basic rights to live with respect, dignity and freedom from fear. As a congregation, we commit ourselves to identify prejudice, dismantle our own racism, and work toward equity, inclusion and diversity of all people.
